Free School Meal Vouchers Information
Parents of children who currently receive free school meals are entitled to a shopping voucher for £15.00 per week per child while schools are closed due to Coronavirus.
If you are not sure if you are eligible or if your circumstances have changed, please go to the link below to check. If you think you may be eligible, please complete the application form at the link below.
If you receive any of the following support payments your child may be entitled to Free School MealsIncome Support
Income-based Jobseekers Allowance
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
Working Tax Credit Run-on – paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
If you are eligible, once your application has been approved we will then process your shopping vouchers.
If your child is currently in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, you do not pay for meals as they receive a meal as part of the Governments Universal Free School Meal Programme.
This is NOT the same as being eligible for free school meals so you will not receive vouchers.
